Bernard Hopkins believed Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao will leave a better legacy than his rival, who already retired, Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr.

Pacquiao at the age of 41 has yet to show signs of slowing down as he continue to dominate opponents, most recent was the then unbeaten Keith Thurman.

Hopkins who fought professionally until the age of 52 explained why he chose Pacquiao.

“I don’t think Floyd gave two you-know-whats about how people feel whether he fought the best guys or not. It was strictly business for Floyd,” Hopkins said.

The two future hall of famers once met in the ring wherein Mayweather won via decision but it doesn’t define Pacquiao’s legacy for Hopkins.

“Manny fought who his promoter wanted him to fight and Floyd fought the guys that were financially lucrative.”

Despite giving Pacquiao the edge, Hopkins shared high respect for the two faces of boxing.
