The Toronto Raptors are currently ‘exploring anything and everything’ for their possible game 1 boycott against the Boston Celtics to protest against racial injustices that ignited once again after the death of Jacob Blake.

Blake was shot multiple times by the police in Wisconsin. This triggered the protest as he, another black person, was targeted by the police.

The NBA Bubble started with players wearing social justices’ names at the back of their jersey in support to black lives matter.

With the incident, more players and coaches expressed frustration that led to the possible boycott of the Raptors.

Fred VanVleet and Norman Powell were among the Raptors who voiced out their frustration and stated that the Black Lives Matter naming is not enough.

“What are we willing to give up?” Said VanVleet on his long address.

Additionally Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers also delivered a powerful message that despite they love the country, “this country does not love us.”
