The rivalry between LeBron James and Stephen Curry will continue once the NBA play-in tournament commences.

Both superstars were fighting in the NBA finals not so long ago, but how can several years make a change, right?

Now both of them, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors, will fight for their lives to catch a ticket to the playoffs.

Despite their positioning, the matchup is already buzzing and is making the fans excited.

An early matchup between two of the best players in the last decade, how good can that be.

But even before they face each other, James voiced his opinion that his counterpart, Curry, deserves to win the MVP this season.

Curry won the scoring title this season after averaging 32.0 points per game. Not only that, he shattered records almost every game in the second half of the regular season.

He became the all-time leading scorer of the Warriors passing the great Wilt Chamberlain. He led the league with three-pointers made with 337, and he has seven games with at least 10 three’s made, the most ever in NBA history.

He has done all of the mentioned while carrying his team, mainly composed of G-League players, to make the playoffs.

Meanwhile, the defending champion Lakers shrunk from the top to the play-in tournament after injuries took over their superstars, Anthony Davis and James.
