Jordan Clarkson has proven to be a prolific NBA scorer as he bagged the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year award.
The Utah Jazz guard was averaging 18.4 points, four rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game regularly to help his team clinched the top spot in the NBA standings.
He also became the only Jazz player to record multiple 40-point games coming off the bench, along with his 203 made three-pointers as the fourth-highest off the bench in NBA history.
The Filipino-American hooper edged out teammate Joe Ingles who came in second and former MVP Derick Rose of the New York Knicks, the finalists.
Clarkson posted on his official Facebook page photos with him and the trophy with the caption: “Blessed.”
Overflowing warm messages and congratulations flooded his social media accounts especially coming from his avid Filipino fans.
Clarkson and Jazz are currently facing the Grit and Grind squad of the Memphis Grizzlies after they were stunned in Game 1.
Clarkson played a little rusty and that game and vowed to bounce back now that their all-star franchise player Donovan Mitchell is cleared to return.
