Talks about Russell Westbrook being the problem in whichever team he goes resurfaced after the Washington Wizards had nightmares of booking a win this season.
Criticism there and here.
Bradley Beal, an All-Star starter this year has been stoppable in the offensive end but again they ended up losing.
Is Westbrook really the problem? Well, the answer is no as the Wizards are finally solving their puzzle almost midway through the season.
Their recent victim? The defending champion Los Angeles Lakers for their fifth-straight victory.
Beal scored 33 points while Westbrook put 32 markers to overpower LeBron James who had 31 points.
They’ve beaten stronger opponents during the streak aside from the Lakers which include the Denver Nuggets, Portland Trail Blazers, Houston Rockets and the Boston Celtics.
They are still below the .500 winning percentage with a win-lose card of 11-17, however, the good thing for the Wizards is that they have the momentum to continue the winning ways.
The positioning in the East is quite complicated as of right now because all teams’ win-lose card is close to each other.
This means that every game counts for them if they would like to stay in the top 8 to make it to the playoffs.
