Rising boxing star David Benavidez is still unbeaten after dominating Roamer Alexis Angulo on their main event bout via late round technical knockout.

The match was stopped before the 11th round began as Angulo’s corner told the referee to stop the fight.

Despite the victory, Benavidez once again lose his WBC super middleweight belt after failing to make the weight before fight night. He lose the belt in 2018 due to failed drug test before reclaiming it and currently the belt he used to wear is in vacant owner.

While frustration remained obvious, Benavidez put an astounding performance to the veteran Angulo who has yet to be knocked out in his career before the fight.

“I felt good. I can rate myself a solid A and overall it was a great performance. But I wanted to do something no one has ever done, which is stop him and I’m pretty sure no one will make him look like that again. I demolished him from start to finish,” said Benavidez who now has 23 wins with 20 knockouts.
