Former boxing world champion Amir Khan is set to complete his transfer to live in Dubai with his family as well as opening a boxing academy to boost the sport in the country.

“I would love to open an academy here. See, one thing that boxing teaches you is discipline and that’s what I want to teach people. I want to teach them discipline and I think having an academy here is definitely going to make a big difference for the people, for the youth, and also get them into boxing and also, maybe, one day we can have boxing events here,” said Khan on an interview.

The British boxer also opened up about his plan to pursue a fight with Manny Pacquiao to be held in Dubai.

Khan has a boxing record of 34 wins including 21 knockouts and five losses.
