A strong fourth quarter propelled the Utah Jazz overcoming the New Orleans Pelicans, 106-104 to claim the first NBA victory at the bubble in Disney World, Florida.

Fil-Am Jordan Clarkson sparked the Jazz off the bench with 23 points along with five rebounds and three assists.

The Pelicans were leading by as much as 16 points midway the game before it went toe-to-toe in the second half.

Donovan Mitchell’s jumper gave the Jazz the lead with 4:09 left in the fourth. The game went back-and-forth before Mike Conley’s offensive rebound after his missed layup proved to be the crucial possession. The ball went to Rudy Gobert where he was fouled by Derick Favors.

The Jazz center drained both free throws to inch 106-104 before Brandon Ingram missed the potential game-winner.

Conley and Mitchell contributed 20 markers each for the Jazz to go up 42-23 (w-l) record.

Meanwhile, Ingram led the Pelicans with 23 points followed by the 21 of JJ Redick as they fell to 28-37.

The Pelicans are racing for the eight spot for the NBA 2020 playoffs.
