LeBron James turned one year older again today as he celebrates his 36th birthday ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers road game against the San Antonio Spurs.
James is currently among the top 10 oldest active NBA player but made no mistake, the four-time MVP, Finals MVP and champion is still one of the best players in the league. In fact, he is arguably still the top player in the whole NBA.
James led the Lakers last season to a championship, his fourth and the franchise’s 17th banner.
With the current 2020-2021 season already underway, James and the rest of his squad are the teams to beat.
The former number one overall pick in the 2003 NBA draft is already into his 18th season yet the end of his career is far from over after, he signed an extension with the purple and blue. It is rumoured that he was maybe able to play with his son Bronny James in the NBA before he finally hangs the shoes for good.
Meanwhile, an early gift received by James was being named the AP Athlete of the Year for the fourth time.
