Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James did not held back on his opinion regarding the recent remark of US President Donald Trump on NBA players kneeling during the singing of the national anthem to show their support on racism and other social issues.
“I really don’t think the basketball community are sad about losing his viewership, him viewing the game,” the 35-year old James said.
“Our fans not only love the way we play the game, we try to give it back to them with our commitment to the game but also respect what else we try to bring to the game and acknowledging what’s right and what’s wrong,” the four-time MVP added. Trump earlier said that he is switching channel whenever he sees player kneeling as he labelled the action “disgraceful.”
