Lebron James will not put away his phone like what he’s usually doing come playoff time.
The Los Angeles Lakers superstar have been staying away from social media when competing in the playoffs to give all his focus on the game but the coronavirus pandemic will stop James’ ritual.
The four-time MVP told that he can’t afford not to communicate with his family during this global crisis especially that he is at the NBA bubble in Disney World.
“I won’t be turning my phone off during this run. I can’t afford to. I have to continue to check in with my family every single day. Making sure everything is still going well, especially in the uncertainty of what 2020 has brought to all of us. So I can’t afford to do that, just lose direct contact with everybody,” James said in an interview. The regular season will officially resume on Friday (Philippine Time) while the playoffs is dated on August 16
