Mike Tyson will see action once again inside the boxing ring after the living legend announced that he would have his second exhibition match on May 29.
The baddest man on the planter divulged the information during his appearance in the Hotboxin podcast and the current pound-for-pound king Saul “Canelo” Alvarez.
“May 29th something like that. The same arena you (Canelo) fought in,” Tyson said.
The arena to which the 54-year old was referring is the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida. Canelo fought mandatory challenger AvniYildirim in the said venue, wherein he won easily after a third-round knockout.
However, Tyson did not drop any names for his next fight. But the fans were pushing it to be his long-time rival, Evander Holyfield.
Holyfield, who is also eyeing a boxing comeback after Tyson successfully did on his fight against fellow OG Roy Jones Jr., remains vocal in hunting Tyson to agree for their trilogy.
Whoever it will be, Tyson also explained the reason for his second try in the exhibition match.
“I felt better than I anticipated. I thought I would be a little more nervous than I was, but I was relaxed.
“I felt like ‘wow’ – I could do some more, I could punch more combinations, I could do this and do that.
“I said, ‘wow, this is interesting, and I want to do it again, and I want to do it against someone I could go all out on.”
