Cris Cyborg, a current Bellator MMA champion, once again spoken of her urge to fight in a boxing ring on her schedule.
In an interview with TMZ, the former UFC champion insisted of matching with welterweight title-holder Cecilia Braekhus.
“Me and Cecilia Braekhus always talk back and forth. It would be a nice opportunity for me. I think it would be a very good match for me, it would be a great fight. I like challenging myself. I never look to take the easy way. I like to train hard and make the best fights for my career and fans,” she said on TMZ.
The 34-year old MMA superstar has been bringing the topic since 2017 and his new home, Bellator, made talks with other boxing promotions to make Cyborg’s fight in reality.
In the recent memories, more athletes specially in the MMA are openly expressing their desire to participate in a cross-fight with boxing.
