With the chances of resuming the 2020 NBA season to Disney World continues to elevate, the league plans to born a 16-team playoff system.
The traditional playoffs are consist of the top eight teams from the respective conferences, the East and West. And if the season officially open in July, the playoffs will be made of the top 16 teams in the overall standings.
The league was halted on March with the Milwaukee Bucks as the top-seed followed by the Los Angeles Lakers.
Fans have been talking about the proposal and the league has been open for it. If followed, the NBA finals could possibly be a West versus West or vice-versa contrary to the original West-East Finals.
The build-up for the restart and the new seeding are making the basketball community in high hopes.
