Acclaimed film and television director Maryo delos Reyes passed away due to a heart attack at the age of 65 last Saturday night in Dipolog City.
It was confirmed by his talent manager June Rufino in a Saturday night. “We have loved him in life, let us not forget him in this time of sorrow,” said Rufino.
According to him, the veteran director was attending a party and was dancing when he suddenly collapsed suffering a heart attack in Dipolog.
Many celebrities took to their social media accounts to express their condolences and sadness with the director’s death.
Ruru Madrid even said on his Instagram that a day before the director’s death, he was able to see and hug Direk Maryo one last time regretting that he should hug him tighter.
