In times of crisis, humanity arises. Day after Cleveland Cavaliers star Kevin Love donated $100,000 for employees affected as the NBA season got suspended, other stars followed the step.
Zion Williamson, the number one overall pick of the recent NBA draft vowed to shoulder the salaries of the arena employees at their New Orleans Pelicans homecourt for 30 days, the same days the NBA is initially suspended.
The most hyped rookie since LeBron James made his announcement on Instagram.
“My mother has always set an example for me about being respectful for others and being grateful for what we have, so today I am pledging to cover the salaries for all of those Smoothie King Center workers for the next 30 days,” an excerpt from his Instagram post.
