Widely regarded as the best shooter to ever set foot in NBA history, Golden State Warriors Stephen Curry banner the line-up for the Three-Point Shootout in the 2021 NBA All-Star in Atlanta March 7.
Curry had won the title once in 2015 before losing his splash brotherKlay Thompson in 2016. He then failed short last year when the underdog Joe Harris came on top. The defending 3-point king, however, will not participate.
This will be Curry’s seventh stint in the shootout, emphasizing his love for shooting beyond the arc.
The participants are the 2018 Three-Point Shootout champ and an All-Star Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns. Booker was the last addition to the All-Star as a replacement to Los Angeles Lakers Anthony Davis, set to miss the All-Star Game due to an injury.
Being part of the ASG, Booker decided to join the competition, which will be held just before the start of the ASG.
Mean dunkers also joined the competition in Zach Lavine’s names of the Chicago Bulls and Donovan Mitchell of the top-seeded Utah Jazz.
Also in the line-up are Boston Celtics’ All-Star duo, Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum.
