NBA superstar Stephen Curry tried to square with boxing’s pound-for-pound king Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez during the American Century Championship tournament.
On the video uploaded by Canelo, the taller Curry jokingly made his boxing stance against Alvarez who also went to his form and quickly threw a jab before the pro-baller even recognized it. Curry pulled back with laughter as the two athletes continued to enjoy their time playing the celebrity golf tournament.
Curry will not be participating in the NBA bubble as his Golden State Warriors settled as the worst team in the season, while Canelo has yet to fight after defeating Sergey Kovalev for the light heavyweight belt.
Canelo’s next fight was supposed to be against Billy Joe Saunders, however, Covid happened.
