Los Angeles Clippers Montrezl Harrell announced on Twitter that he is inside the NBA bubble at the Disney World in Orlando, Florida after leaving the campus due to family matter.
The return of the Sixth-Man of the Year candidate is a timely boost for his squad as they prepare for the post-season on August 16.
Harrell is averaging a career-high of 18.6 points along with 7.1 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks while playing off the bench. Along with fellow finalist for the Sixth-Man Lou Williams, they have the highest combined output from players off the bench this season with a total of 36.9 point per game.
Aside from the statistical data, Harrell’s tenacity and energy on the floor have been bringing wonders to his team, a part they are missing in the current bubble as they tallied 3-3 (win-lose) in the resume of the regular season.
But due to the quarantine protocols, Harrell will be quarantined for four days before he can rejoin the Clippers and will be likely to see action in the playoff series.
