The already depleted Brooklyn Nets lose yet another important piece of their remaining roster as Joe Harris left the NBA bubble in Orlando during their ongoing series against the defending champion Toronto Raptors.

Nets is currently down 0-2 against the Raptors in the first round of the playoffs but despite the need for more scoring output, the three-point specialist was forced to leave due to family matter.

According to reports, Harris’ mother went cancer treatments earlier in the season but none was able to specify the reason of his untimely absence.

“We’re losing a guy who was putting in a lot of work and playing really well for us. It’s not just going to be me stepping up. It’s a lot of guys who have to step up to fill the void,” teammate Tyler Johnson said.

The Nets entered the bubble without their newly recruit superstars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving due to injuries as well as Spencer Dinwiddie, one of their top scorer.
