The concern about the safety is growing every single day with NBA players testing positive of coronavirus, thus, resulting to some deciding to completely abandon the 2020-2021 season.

Below are the lists of players who expressed to opt out the remainder of the season.

Davis Bertans – the three-point specialist from the Washington Wizards chose to sit out to prevent himself from getting infected by the deadly virus.

Trevor Ariza- the recent acquisition of the Portland Trail Blazers picked his one-month visitation to his son than re-joining the team.

DeMarcus Cousins – the free agent and former All-Star is still recovering from his ACL injury. Reports said that he will not sign to any team this season to fully recover and while there is still a threat of the virus.

Kyrie Irving – the Brooklyn Nets All-Star was loud about his intention to boycott the season arguing with the ongoing racial injustices in the country. He said that this will be his support to anti-racism, by not playing.
