Floyd Mayweather was once again being criticized for the possibility of him facing YouTuber Logan Paul in an exhibition match.
John Fury, the father of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, called the retired boxing a ‘skint.’
This was because of his choice in fighting opponents. Although Mayweather pocketed tons of dollars into his accounts for his super fights, some started questioning him due to his last few fights.
Is Mayweather all about money? He first fought with a mixed martial artist in the name of Conor McGregor from the UFC. The hype was real, and so was their income. Next, he fought a Japanese kickboxer in Japan. He won, didn’t even sweat, and pocketed around $9 million. Next is the rumor about him fighting a YouTube sensation.
Fury’s dad had enough and criticized the American.
“It’s making a mockery of boxing. Come on, Floyd,” he said.
Boxing is entertainment because of the action it gives to the fans. However, Fury and some others are taking Mayweather’s choices as a shame to the sport.
The lengthy culture of the combat sport is looking like it can be played upon by anyone.
“Is he skint or something? He’s got all the money in the world. A man of his caliber messing with a YouTuber?”
