NBA stars react to the tragic death of NBA prospect Terrence Clarke

The basketball world has lost a possible star in the biggest league in the world. Terrence Clarke, a Duke University standout, died after a traffic accident in Los Angeles.

Clarke was only 19 years old.

He was a freshman at Duke and displayed excellent skills and potential. He also announced he would enter the NBA draft. He was preparing for the draft when the horrific car crash happened.

NBA players extended their condolences on social media:

“Today is a rough day for our Kentucky Family…RIP Terrence Clarke,” said former Kentucky Wildcats and Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl Anthony Towns.

“Rest easy, Clarke.” – Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young.

“Condolences to Terrence Clarke’s family.  He had a bright future ahead but had already made a significant impact off the court in the City of Boston.

RIP TC” – Boston Celtics.

“Rest In Peace Terrence Clarke

Keep the Clarke family in your prayers.” – Jarrett Jackson Jr of the Memphis Grizzlies.

“Gone way too soon, man.” – Charlotte Hornets Miles Bridges.

Clarke could have been an excellent addition to the NBA as he played tremendously in the previous NCAA season. All wishes and prayers go to the Clarke family.
