Point guard Austin Rivers will not see action in the Houston Rockets scrimmages as he left the NBA bubble at the Disney World in Orlando, Florida for an approved family reason.

The Rockets will face the defending champion Toronto Raptors on their first scrimmage. Russell Westbrook remains questionable to play as he just recently joined the team after testing positive with the coronavirus.

The NBA allowed players to go outside the bubble only with valid reasons like urgent or emergency family matters. Zion Williamson of the New Orleans Pelicans was the first player to left with also emergency family matter to attend.

They however, will be able to rejoin their respective squads as soon as they finished the quarantine after coming back inside the bubble and tested negative for the disease.
