Should John Riel Casimero forget Naoya Inoue? Since the fight has yet to show progress, the camp is ready to explore other options for the WBO bantamweight title-holder.

One of which is the top contender Jason Moloney who called out Casimero for a fight.

“I just want to be world champion. I just want that opportunity. If I’m ranked No. 1, yeah, Casimero, let’s go!” the Australian Moloney said.

Although not exciting compared to Inoue, the MP Promotions had taken consideration of Moloney alongside other boxers.

The questions left for Casimero is will he wait for Inoue? Or will he fight to earn and defend his belt?

Whose fight is better? Frankly speaking, it is Inoue. But Top Rank seemed to be overprotective of their new recruit, hence, Moloney is the more practical fight.

Upon defending his belt, big fights should come easy now for Casimero.

Casimero-Moloney could be the co-main event of the Teofimo Lopez-Vasyl Lomachenko unification bout in the lightweight division on October 3.
