Deontay Wilder is all business for his upcoming rematch with Luis Ortiz on November 23rd at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.
The WBC heavyweight champion has yet to entertain his already possible upcoming fight after the Wilder-Ortiz II with another rematch with Tyson Fury in the first stage of 2020.
The rematch is the possible decider for both fighters after a controversial finish last March.
41-0 (40 KOs) Wilder is eager to prove his supremacy after Ortiz gave the champ his toughest moment in boxing, in the seventh round to be exact.
Motivated than ever, Wilder is eyeing for a knockout in protecting his clean record but he knows it is not going to be a walk in the park.
“If you’re a boxing fan or even if you’re not a boxing fan, and you just want to come in/tune in and see what Wilder is all about, this is a fight where you can come in and say ‘you don’t know what the outcome is going to be,’” Wilder said in an interview with bigfightweekend.com.
“That’s what I like about this fight. To give the fans something to look forward to…. To say, ‘Man, I don’t know what’s going to happen in this fight.’ It could go both ways.” he added.
While, this rematch is coming to a close, noise has been murmuring around for a second bout between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder. Fury was once the undisputed heavyweight champion and the lone boxer to put Wilder in a draw decision. February was the initial date of the possible rematch.
